The Park is notorious for their ability to bring raw honest groove and captivating energy to whatever musical context they find themselves. The Park’s musical diversity and astounding musicianship has allowed them to cover much ground supporting artists from around the world.
Ever since Derek, Josh, and Ben first got together in the bathroom-sized practice room in San Francisco in 2002, they have shared an infectious drive to making music that feels good and a calling to bring that music to the masses. Since then The Park has been consistently touring and recording, backing artists nationally (New York to L.A. and everywhere in between) and internationally (including Europe, Chile, and the Middle East ).
With Derek, Josh, and Ben making up the core of the group, The Park’s playground has grown to include some of the most talented and sought after guitarists, horn players, vocalists and emcees in the industry.
The Park’s musical range and diversity can be heard on a number of album releases supporting such artists as Darondo, Nino Moschella, Alice Russell, Jesse Boykins III, Bri Anne Michelle, Keelay, Ragen Fykes, Donwill Of Tanya Morgan, Happy Mayfield and more. This year The Park is gearing up to release all new music including their very first album that is written, produced, and performed by themselves.
