Rosa Alchemica is a contemporary post punk band, formed in 2005. The band's name originates from William Butler Yeats philosophising novel.THE ALBUM '3000 MILES 3000 NIGHTS' IS AVAILABLE ON CD-BABY BOTH PHYSICALLY AND DIGITALLY, ITUNES RELEASE 1.01. 2010. The debut album '3000 miles 3000 nights' was recorded in an abandoned gay bar in London's east end in 2007-2008 by Greek musician Alex Miaris (Electric Litany) and Spaniard Manuel Mara. Post production was carried out by Miaris, Darko, Marian throughout 2008-2009.
Line-ups have changed a few times, and Adam David Phillips, Rob Rainer Sirel, John Conn, Pawel Dziadur, Einar Ojarand, David Cariss have played and featured on some recordings and lives between the years of 2005-2010. Band's last live line-up in 2010 consisted Eddie Darko from Greenland, Andreas Marian from Estonia, Greg Gibson from New Zealand and Andre Viera from Portugal.
By the end of 2010 the leader of the band, Eddie Darko run into serious mental and financial difficulties, and has gone AWOL from the band.he has been spotted in various squats and bars and parks around East London, sometimes banging his head on radiators, sometimes sleeping on pavements, sometimes staring vacantly into space, sometimes claiming to be on the verge of greatness and writing a new album.we'll wait and see.Andreas Marian is still playing and writing for his band DND, which is doing considerably well in Estonia.Both Greg Gibson and Andre Viera appear to have joined a band called The Architects Of Grace for the time being.so as it stands at the moment any new releases or gigs are likely to happen some day when the apricots blossom.or on a cold day in hell.or when Eddie finds his brain that he claims to have left somewhere near Dalston Boulevard.
