Just so you know.The day this vocal was recorded
the studio was booked for another group, and there
was little time, so the songs were sung one after
another, like live with no punch-ins or fixing it as
is done so often in recording these days. What you
hear is what it is. Rick Champagne singing Skynyrd,
then digitally mastered and made into a montage,
cuz music biz people will give you 5 mins or less and
they usually decide right then if you're worth it or not.

Is Endorsed By Ronnie Van Zant's Childhood Friend,
& Bodyguard, Mr. Gene Odom. Gene was aboard the plane
that tragically fell to Earth on October 20th, 1977.
He is lucky to be alive and will never forget his friends.
Gene was tragically injured and needs ongoing treatment
for injuries suffered on that awful day that took 6 lives.
This band and others will be giving of their time to help
raise the funds for Gene's ongoing medical attention.

This New Tribute Show Coming Soon will be embarking from
the Jacksonville Florida area and will be doing a vast number
of shows all around the country. This show is being done up
with complete and total respect for the music to be performed
for The Frynds of Ronnie Van Zant, who miss that familiar voice
that millions of fans consider to be a dear long lost friend.
Ronnie's Blues Rock and Southern Styled Delivery coined the
phrase, and genre people have come to know as Southern Rock.
Ronnie's work with LYNYRD SKYNYRD until He Crossed Oct. 20th 1977
earned LYNYRD SKYNYRD the title of:
THE DEFINITIVE SOUTHERN ROCK BAND
although it was really all about THE BLUES.
Ronnie had a deep understanding and love for the black blues
sound that developed in the deep south with artists like the
great Robert Johnson, who wrote Down To The Cross Roads
and the hugely popular blues hit Got My Mojo Working.
The Skynyrd band had just released the awaited album
entitled STREET SURVIVORS and were just a couple days
into the tour to support it when the plane ran out of gas.
The pilots had experienced engine trouble with one of the
twin props of the Convair they were travelling aboard.
They crashed into a wooded watery area believed
to be a swamp that was the remains of a beaver damn.
All aboard were severely injured, and 6 lives were gone.
Ronnie Van Zant (Lead Vocalist), Steve Gaines (Guitarist,Vocalist) Steve's Sister, Cassie Gaines (Background Vocalist),
Dean Kilpatrick (road manager/friend), and The 2 Pilots,
Walter McCreary and William Gray.
This Tribute Show is dedicated to them and the Great Musicianship
and Vocals that gave LYNYRD SKYNYRD the sound that propelled
them all the way to The Rock & Roll Hall Of Fame in 2006!
IT TOOK A WHILE BUT CONGRATS TO THEM FOR THE VICTORY!
We'd like to Tip The Hat to Johnny Van Zant for stepping up to
tribute his beloved Brother all these years to keep the music
and spirit alive for the fans. He deserves respect for all the nights
he sang, and still sings his heart out, while standing in the shadow
of His Legendary Brother Ronnie. It's a job he faithfully took knowing
full well many would be critical and compare him to a man who's
shoes will never be filled by another, yet he did it for love of Ronnie.
LYVYN SKYN'D will be appearing LIVE soon at Large Capacity Clubs,
Theaters, Casinos, Amusement Parks, Fairs, and Outdoor Venues.
