Ronen Ziony (Rony Zee) Was born in Israel and at the
age of 20,Moved to San Diego, California (for 14 years.)
Started to play drums at the age of 2 and piano at 6, Ronen was involved with music, shows and played and performed alot as a young kid.
Ronen graduated from SDSU with Music and Comm. degree (Bachelor of Art), graduated from the P.I.T in north Hollywood and Mix masters, A sound Engineering school in San Diego ,Ca.(sound Engineering Diploma)
Playing professionally for the last 20 years ,making living as a Pro Drummer/musician,producer and a writer, working with the music industry.
Played and toured all over the world, with heavy metal bands such as:
Sanctions, Mystic Edge, Big City, Envy, precouse death,former tech for "guns and rosses" and "skid row" guitarist Sport Thompson and Gary Day with the "Molten Tova"Gig, with"Defiance" as opnening act for "Iron Maiden" for 3 moths Tour ,"America"", "TestamenT"and more, Auditioned for Ozzy in 1995 for the ozzmosis Album, recorded and produced over then 30 Albums, Ronen is playing for the last 10 years with a Major world music band in the Middle East "Gaya" with 4 albums all over the world, toured all over the World in the: U.S.A,Canada,Australya,Mexico,,Russia,Germany
,France,Spain,England,Greece,Turky,Ukrain, Venezuela,Colombia,Brazil,
Jordan,Israel and many more.
Music teacher at "Dov Hos" high school, Tel Aviv,with about 700 drum students over the years, with alot of stage and studio experience.
Currently, finished the Second Album with"Metal Scent"along with friends vocalist Rami Salmon and Guitarist Dror Yakar, together,writing and composing all original materials, using the support of guitarist Yaniv Aboudy and bassist Amir Salomon,in the studio and on tours,Album that is going
to come out SOON !!
Rony is using Yamaha T.T.C Drum kit with P.S Ebony Remo heads,Meinl Raker symbals and Asama custom Rony Zee double pedal.
