Rodney's veiw is that "Good music" has "absolutely NO bounderies." "It is a sphere of limitless creativity and energy." " A power unto itself, it should not be subjugated by any standards or guidelines other than the raw emotion of the composer, wether that be emotionally, stylistically, lyrically, instrumentally, or otherwise." His veiw of "Bad music" is "music that is without soul, feeling and honesty, or music that is compressed into a box of foreign ideas or guidelines, to satisfy other purposes than the raw art of the composition." The commercial component of the music buisiness has been important and rewarding to Rodney as well, with the radio airplay and rigorus, non stop live performance schedule. "I know what it is that I need to do here in this broad thing called the music buisiness. I do this for a living.
