ROCWELL: a native of Florida, is more than just a breath of fresh air, more than an icon, more than an attractive advertisement, more than just your average emcee and more than what you have been use to until now.
Rocwell (da hustla), formerly known as Hi-Tec to some has followed a different tune growing up. He didn’t agree too much with the typical bass movements and booty shaking era which you would expect from a southern artist. The roots, culture and pioneer’s of hip hop captured his interests and it shows. With this amazing crisscross you will find southern slang, mentality and foundation laced with an east coast deliver, witty lines and journey into the mind of a brilliant individual.
Rocwell towers over many standing six feet seven inches and gets plenty of respect. Whether its east coast to west, underground to commercial airwaves, this versatile being has paved his own path of success. He aims to give you a message filled with a voice as he speaks. He is encouraging and hopes that you will learn more of him through his experiences, life and memories through music and personal connections alike.
With the energetic and charismatic southern slang, he flows with a twist of East Coast and deep vocal combination of well written lyrics to give you his marketable vibes of the one and only Rocwell can expose. With goals and visions to establish and create an avenue for Florida to finally get its well awaited credit, Rocwell is determined to be successful through his plans, contributions and hard work.
Recently releasing his first single titled, "COLD WORLD" feat. Biz and Blanco; you will get a glance at how cold life has and can be, thoughts on concepts and reality as witnessed through his eyes. You will also learn much about his Florida roots with tracks like “LAMBOGENIDOZE” which declares the deep south as the Chevy capital of the world (see video); “B.L.A.C.K” single which celebrates the African American history and Obama in office; “TIMES HAVE CHANGED” feat. Atiba and many more chapters to be mentioned.
