Rocky Singh now drumming with French/Algerian Oriental Rockers - Speed Caravan . Rocky Singh solo album to be released soon and work continues on Rock i.D.'s new tracks .



Rocky Singh aka Rock iD's talents and accomplishments are recognised on the international stage. As multi-instrumentalist, producer, singer and songwriter, Rocky is able to create and drive lyrically conscious melodies through an innovative mix in which the languages of rock, hip hop, punk and alternative come together as a unique style.



After beginning his career in Toronto, Canada, Rocky moved to London and became part of Asian Dub Foundation as drummer. Signed to Virgin/EMI, this Asian collective have revolutionized the jungle-punk world. With ADF, he embarked upon a demanding touring schedule covering over 20 countries.



Rocky worked with ADF upon a new live soundtrack for Mathieu Kassovitz's Cannes award winning film, La Haine (The Hate.) This catapulted Rocky and ADF into the spotlight of various film festivals including Australia's Sydney Film Festival and Norway's Bergen Film Festival amongst countless others.



At this time he also collaborated with Fran Healey, leader of the UK band Travis on a remix of the track "Last Train."



If that were not enough, he also started work with ADF on their album Enemy Of The Enemy which went on to sell 250,000 copies.

Its release prompted a new extensive tour where ADF shared the stage with artists such as Macy Gray, The Red Hot Chili Peppers, Public Enemy, Audioslave, Coldplay, Neil Young and Oasis. Eventually they were billed with Radiohead as part of their "Hail To The Thief" world tour.



"Bust Your Head", the new Rock iD single track is now out with an accompanying CGI animated video directed in Zürich, Switzerland by Graham Geigenmueller with art direction from Kan Muftic and his dedicated graphics team.



It features the vocals of Spex MC and MC Lord Kimo from Asian Dub Foundation, bringing a characteristic mix of styles unique to the Rock iD vibe.



Rock iD's new album, Motorscream includes other collaborators like Manu Chao and Massive Attack's bass player, Winston Blisset.



Rocky intends to be an innovator and to push the boundaries of music further. Watch this space
