Robyn Harris
Robyn Harris has a unique way of captivating and engaging her
audience that involves comedic story telling and audience
participation. She is known for arming her listeners with pots
and pans to create an impromptu rhythm section or outfitting
them with cowboy hats for her performance of her catchy sing
-a-long “Cowboy Hat.”
In the fall of 2003, Robyn played her first solo show in a small
coffee house in Philadelphia. Just two short years later, she
had released her debut album, ‘ Pocket My Pride,’ and began
touring. Less than a year after that, she released her sophomore
album, ‘ I Never…’ By 2006, Robyn had played over 250 shows
in both the United States and abroad.
By 2007, Robyn had decided to take a hiatus from the road and
move back to the Bay Area where she grew up. She pursued a
different career while still performing in San Francisco and
surrounding areas. Harris also got involved in ‘Bread & Roses’
playing at Bay Area institutions. Now that Robyn is happily
settled, she looks to 2009 to bring her passion for music and
performing to local audiences.

"If you haven't yet heard Ms. Harris… you owe it to yourself to get to one of her shows or buy her album. Very smart lyrics and sweet, meditative guitar parts provide a cohesive and slightly addictive background to the star of Pocket My Pride, Robyn's pretty, strong, this-is-what-I've-got-you- can-take-it-or- leave-it voice."
