The Roberto López Project is a polycultural orchestra presenting the original compositions and arrangements of composer and director Roberto López (artiste révélation Radio-Canada Musique 2010-2011 and JUNO Award Nominee). The project captures the essence of traditional Latin rhythms in an urban and contemporary environment, encompassing styles such as Cumbia-Funk, Urban-Mambo, Boogaloo, Latin-Soul, Latin-Reggae, Colombian Pacific coast's Currulao, Colombian Caribbean coast's Porro Pelayero, and 70's Salsa Dura. all mixed with a unique sound.

Puissant, mélodique et contemporaine, le style Nouveau Afro Latin (Nu Afro Latin) se définit par ce mixte aventureux de traditions. De la musique afro-colombienne et afro-cubaine jusqu'au hip hop urbain, au boogaloo, au jazz et à la musique électronique. toutes s'harmonisent ensemble dans un cocktail pétillant.
