Rmen

Rmen (pronounced Ar-men) orginates from Brooklyn, NY and brings to the music industry a jazzy-house/latin hybrid style of singing. The Armenian born artist signed with Bandaz Records in New Jersey in 2001 and worked with different producers overseas in Poland, Germany, and London. With that label he worked with the band Cascade Folk Trio and the band's self-titled CD was released. In 2003 the CD "Old Street" was released and received worldwide attention.



Now Rmen works independently as a solo artist in collaboration with different dj's and producers in the states and overseas. "Searching", his first solo single project was released in Armenia in January 2008.



Currently Rmen is in the studio working on new album in Los Angeles with hopes of crossing over to an American audience.



His music influences are Ella Fitzgerald, Sarah Vaughn, Dinah Washington, Inaya Day, and Stevie Wonder.Watch the new music video, "Searching"
