Well before I tell you about the current status of RIVIN I better start with how it all began. Hunter and Skylar were obviously the first two member of RIVIN to meet(seeing how thay are brothers and all). From the moment of their births music was driven into their skulls like some sort of anceint Chinese torture device. Their dad was and old school rocker from way back and their mother lead the music department at their church, so they quickly developed a passion and appreciation for music, though they never developed any kind of ambition to make it anything more than a passtime until they met Tyler. This strange species "Tyler" was indigenous to the magical land of California. His father butch had been an active musician(drums were his weapon of choice) for the better half of his life, so he quickly set out to instill the love he had for music in Tyler. After a totally random series of events Tyler and his crew made their way all the way from Cali to the barren wasteland I like to call Zavalla, TX. Well, fate would have it, Zavalla just happened to be Skylar and Hunter's hometown. Andrew was also a Zavalla native in the same grade as Hunter. His ealry musical endevour were a result of his sister and cousin helping distort his fragile mind with music such as Manson, Pink Floyd, and a whole bunch of other stuff, also his mother would fruequently take hime and his sister to concerts. So now the stage was set Skylar was a drummer, Andrew and Tyler could play some guitar, and Hunter dabbled in bass, they were in seventh and eighth grade when they all had a chance to get to know one another, but still it took another three years of talking about how they should start a band before anything happened. It was the summer of '03, Hunter and Skylar were camping at the local lake they drove out to Tyler's house and picked him up. Later that night they were sitting ariound in a tent playing the git-fiddle(guitar) when Tyler said that while he was in Cali for the summer he made a punk song. Well once again fate set in to reveal that Hunter had written a whole songs worth of lyrics while mowing his lawn. Thus the Taylor Song was born. It has been three and a half years now and the band is still together. They have written about 45 songs recorded 2 albums and played shows from Cali to Texas. It seems still to this time, a day doesn't go by without some crtitical blow hitting the heart of the band, but after all the hard times and long nights they have always been there for one another. You couldn't find better freinds if you searched the whole world over, and that is what makes RIVIN an unstoppable force, destined for greatness.



Also before i some this up I would like to thank all of the people that come together to make RIVIN possible, though there are only three guys on stage, RIVIN is made up of a number of people that put in their time, dedication, and money so that we can live our dream. We realize and thank all of you for your individual contributions. We are forever in debt to you. And to all the RIVIN fans, it's never gonna stop. And to all the ladies, how you doin. Alright, gigitty-giggity.
