Rio Bent

Rio Bent was a three-piece punk rock band from Vancouver, formed in 2002 by Allie Sheldan. Along with Kurtis Sheldan and Dan Stenning Rio Bent was an active band for 8 years, breaking up January 2009. During their time together they toured within Canada, played extensively in Vancouver and the lower mainland and released several EP's. Just prior to their breakup the band was preparing for the release of their first Full Length CD.



After half a year spent apart and out of music, the three went on to form DEAD VOICES in the Summer of 2009. The time spent apart was essential fuel to their fire, the three members play with the fervor of the newly possessed and soulless, fresh from the crossroads. As DEAD VOICES they've played a handful of highly-received Vancouver shows and will be releasing their first EP, HOT HANDS, June 2010.
