Rick Wylie is a Texas based Western Swing/Traditional Country/Jazz singer, songwriter, guitarist and performer with undeniable talent and a sexy style. He has shared the stage with legends such as Merle Haggard, Marty Stewart, Cowjazz, The Texas Playboys, Gene Watson, and The Bellamy Brothers, as well as recording artists Chris Cagle, Trick Pony, Pat Green, Charlie Robison, Jason Boland, Deryl Dodd, Larry Joe Taylor, Tommy Alverson, Ed Burlison, Roger Creager, Morrison Williams, Amy Grant, and many more. Rick has proven his songwriting ability with a library of over 90 songs and he has released two independently recorded albums, a debut "Rick Wylie" and "5 Dollar Cover." His music is fast becoming a staple of Western Swing and Honky Tonk music in North Texas.
Rick's skill as a guitarist and his powerful yet soothing voice create a stage presence of yesteryear's Texas Dancehall but with the intimacy of a back porch pickin'.
