Richard J, born Richard Mark Jansen on August 21, 1989
is Singapore youngest talent extraordinaire to perform in Top Dawg Party twice.
Watched him perform live alongside superstar such as
Scola of Multi-Platinum Group Dru Hill & Akon.
Richard J started composing music at the age of 12
and inspired by artistes such as Lil Wayne, Bow Wow,
he then moved on to create a style of his own.
He began performing at the age of 15,
joining street competitions/ Battles. In 2005,
he joined his first Rap Battle as a soloist and came out victorious as a crowned champion.
The consistently flow-innovating emcee reintroduces bounce on a whole new level.
With his brand new Album in the works, scheduled to release in Mid 2010
March/April, this young extraordinaire has so much more to give.
