Richard Durand presents his superb new single on the Magik Muzik imprint, entitled "Wide Awake".

Richard is currently spending a lot of time in his studio, working on an upcoming album. Everything is still in the works, so a title is not available yet. Thankfully we do get to hear what's cooking and it must be good, 'cause on a regular basis fabulous new singles from his studio vault find their way to the audience. The new title, "Wide Awake" is an incredibly electrifying vocal trancer with capital letters. Bold arrangements with tons of subtle percussion, hard driving beats and, most importantly, haunting vocals. Richard's rich synth programming turns the entire track into one that deserves several pre-listen sessions, simply because there's so much detail to feast your ears on. Every DJ can put this on and turn every party, whether it's in the club, the big room our outdoors, into a fantastic experience. Watch for the break and the following climax. Your audience will be very pleased!

The remixes are all tailor made for today's dance floors and can feature easily in live sets of every self respecting DJ. Dean Newton reworked the original according to his trademark sound, so check it out from start to finish and don't forget the Dub Chorus mix. "Wide Awake" by Richard Durand definitely has chart credibility, so be the first to add the radio edit to daytime's prime time slots!
