CASEY O MEDICINE SHOW - 1920'S OSCAR SCHMIDT GUITAR RESURRECTION - Video
PUBLISHED:  Jul 26, 2012
DESCRIPTION:
One of my favorite old guitars. A 1920's Oscar Schmidt that was unplayable but a diamond in the rough. Previous owner added the tailpiece because the original bridge was coming up. I didn't feel guilty refinishing it because it had been stained burgundy by someone already. As you'll see the wood grain that was underneath is amazing. Headstock plate made from Coco Bolo and African Blackwood with my signature initials.
Background music by a very talented fellow Youtuber and old guitar owner. See his original videos at his page: terrybellmusician on Youtube. Much respect, sir!
Second track is Gretchen Wilson pouring out the heart on 'I'd Love to be Your Last'. Deep and true are her words. .
