Hailing from the impoverished hometown of Estill, South Carolina. An area with low education rates, high unemployment and crime rates, and nothing else; Ren is the young musical prodigy the whole area Lowcountry connect with. Ren got his start in the game at the tender age of eight, writing songs for imaginary rappers he drew in his notebook. Soon after, he stopped writing for nobody and started penning for himself. Over the years Ren perfected his skill and learned to produce for himself as well. Then in 2006, local hitmakers CNC gave Ren his debut studio recording, "Bring It Back" for their mixtape "Chain Up Part 2, Vol. 2". Hark work soon followed with Ren recording 3 mixtape/street albums, and releasing his first album in January 2007, "Rated R." Between 2007 and 2009 many albums and mixtapes were recorded but never released except through YouTube and Myspace. However on March 12, 2010 the album "Good Times" was released to the public and two albums follow in the upcoming months. STAY TUNED!
