Since their formation, Remote Kontroll have been focused on creating something different while letting their diverse influences shine through. Their resulting debut full length is only definable as a melting pot of electrified beats behind piano, metal guitar riffs and poppy melodic vocal lines that leave you humming. Heavy and harsh at one moment, beautiful and serene the next, seemingly as a rule staying away from 'verse-chorus-verse' song writing. Fans from their home state of Louisville, Kentucky and beyond buzzed about the band's explosive live performances. Leading to what would eventually become 9 city US tour, thousands of CDs sold and countless enthusiastic fans. Influenced by Panic! At the Disco, Hinder, and The Beatles, Remote Kontroll creates a sound both intense and versatile as they cross musical boundaries in every song.



The centerpiece to Remote Kontroll is lead vocalist/guitar & keyboardist J.B Evans, who personifies the suave profile perfectly. Neither overpowering nor frustratingly quaint, Evans middling style is just right for the band's clean instrumentation. The rhythm section is deliciously ethereal, with a welcome focus on simple, but pulsating bass lines and soaring guitar soundscapes. School mates and life long friends, Blake Gilbert (guitar and vocals), Niel Hutchson (Drums& Percussion) and Robert Seigel (bass and vocals), have created a sound and a vibe that is contagious to the modern alternative rocker and appealing to the youthful skateboarding trend.
