Remote Area focus on the deeper side of electronic minimalistic dance music e.g. Minimal Techno. The artists appearing on Remote Area: mostly new talents who did not release on vinyl before, but are strong contributors to the Dutch scene.



Lauhaus, Boris Werner and Aron Friedman from Amsterdam, who are responsible for the MONO parties. David Labeij who released on the Dutch netlabel www.redevice.com and Julien Chaptal , Kabale und Liebe & Daniel Sanchez, Gimikk and many more talented artists on the way.



Collaborators will also be Makcim & Managamend of the

MINIMAL Eindhoven crew.

Electronic veterans Dylan Hermelijn and Dave Ellesmere (aka Microfunk) will show their deeper yet darker side of electronic experiments on Remote Area.



Since 2007 Amsterdam imprint Remote Area started the offshoot of Area Remote. The sublabel focus on one-sided collaborations or one day spin offs.
