At the beginning we were just friends who all lived in Joensuu, all had played in

bands and all liked, besides punkrock, different types of rocknroll, from fifties

rockabilly to younger stuff, like psychobilly. So almost like an accident we got

together and thoughed that it would be fun and challencing to play

some rockabilly inlfuenced punk together. First time we played together was

some where around the year 2005, I gues. From the beginning we noticed that

things worked out very well and so we kept meeting at the rehearsel place. We

even played one gig under a name "Prisoners of society" with only performing

early recordings of The Living End. After the gig we thoughed about writing our

own songs and deceated to continue rehearsing.

Spring 2006 we had six songs ready and we wanted to go to studio.

Those six songs became is our self published –ep “Broken life”. With

the help of our new cd we got the chance to play lot of gigs around

Finland, get to know people and have good time. After summer 2006 it was

clear that we are gonna go on with relentless full throttle.

The sound of Relentless comes from the hard work of three players. As the

"style" might look like something from "A Rebel without a cause", Relentless is

not a cover band playing '50s rockabilly, but a true unique group, writing their

own stuff. Players' former bands include such names as Lucky bastards and

Rudeo and influences vary from The Clash and Johnny Cash to Stray cats.

Double bass is big part of the bands sound as it brings the roots of rock music

to the sound of Relentless.

Summer 2007 an independent record label Fast Rock Factory published

Relentless' full lenght debyt album "Time of fools" and through out the reviews

it got good response. When playing every gig like it's the last one, year 2008

opened new connections and contacts. Future looks bright and most important: "The Future is unwritten" -Joe Strummer
