Reggae Vision serves up meaningful Roots Reggae, powerful dub and smooth Caribbean tunes.

Livingstone Richardson, also known as "Gillie" and "Cornflakes", is the creative force behind Reggae Vision. Gillie was born in the Caribbean on Lambert's estate, Middle Island, St. Kitts and at age nineteen moved to his parents' Island home of Anguilla, where he learned reggae, calypso and soca music. Known as "Cornflakes" he became a popular calypsonian known for his wit and style as well as Master of Ceremonies for many touring acts including Third World. Cornflakes became the Calypso King in Anguila, winning the Carnival calypso competition in 1988.

He has performed throughout the Caribbean and the US. In the U.S. and St. Kitts his fans and friends know him as Gillie, a name which goes back to his days playing West Indian football and cricket.

Gillie brings a wide range of musical talents to Reggae Vision including songwriter, composer, arranger, guitarist and singer.

His first album was recorded in Jamaica in 1989 with Neville Hinds of Byron Lee. He played with Mentos and New Horizons in the Northeast US, and recorded 'Livingstone' album in 1992, before founding Reggae Vision in 1996. Reggae Vision's first CD, "Reggae Believer" in 1996. This CD included the track ' Take Me To The Islands (from Don't Give Up) was 1 on MP3's Caribbean Chart in March and April of 2001, as well as the tune "Do De Move", which was used for a clothing softener ad in Europe.

Small Island Rasta, his second CD released in cooperation with Peppercorn Music, came out in August 2000. The track, 'Tiny Island', speaking to an island man or even a tourist far from home, was 1 on MP3's Caribbean Chart. In 2003, Reggae Vision released 'Wasted Years" Reggae Vision's Music is available on line at itunes, msn music, buy.com, napster and many other on line stores.

A new album is in the works, being recorded at Northfire Studio in Amherst, MA.

Reggae Vision performs with Mohan on Bass, Adam on Guitar, and Jeff on Drums. A Reggae Vision performance is very exciting because you never know what song will be played next. The band blends original music and a huge variety of well known reggae, rock, r&b and pop songs in the various rhythms of reggae and calypso. The band plays some gigs in winter but goes full blast in summer with three to four gigs a week all over the northeast, Boston, Springfield, Northampton, Cape Cod in Massachusetts, Hampton Beach, New Hampshire and Maine. The group performs at festivals, private parties, weddings, schools and nightclubs.
