"More poetic and more emotional than practically any other act playing right now. In a period of pop stars devoid of any emotion, the soulful lyrics of Waddle shine through as a bright spot on a barren plain." Neufutr's James McQuiston

Reed Waddle is an artist who has arrived "Piece by Piece". His fourth album finds the constantly evolving singer songwriter at the peak of his melodic dexterity, fusing highly emotional soundscapes with a wide palette of memorable pop/rock anthems. His lyrical vision & depth invites comparison by some as a modern day Paul Simon melding into "a similar relaxed soulfulness that recalls Boz Scaggs best work that at the end of the day, any day, sounds great" Joe Hartlaub (Music-reviewer.com)

Since moving from his gulf coast hometown in Destin Florida to Boston after Labor Day of 2009 Reed has had a series of career changing milestones. He most recently won the Grand Prize at the New York Songwriters Circle, and an instant thrust directly into the heart of the New York music scene. The Circle has helped launch careers of artists like Norah Jones, Jessie Harris, Gavin DeGraw and Kate Voegele, (One Tree Hill). A month earlier he was a co-winner in the Mountain Stage NewSong Competition in Charleston, West Virgina, competing with thousands of songwriters from the US and Canada.

It didn't always come easy and quick though. Reed has been a hard working touring musician, constantly on the move seeking his breakthrough. He recently opened concerts for Hall and Oates,The All American Rejects, the Wailers,Edie Carey and Katie Herzig. In June of this year he shared the stage with Phoebe Snow, Jesse Harris, Marcus Hummon and Tina Shafer at the New York Songwriters Circle, the only artist on the bill without multi-platinum songwriting credits. In support of his new release he completed a 15 state 28 city six week eastern seaboard tour in October/ November 2008. For the past three years he has played over 300 shows annually mostly in small clubs colleges and listening rooms around the country while constantly writing and recording.

His recent release was recorded primarily in Aspen Colorado, and produced by Jamie Rosenberg. In October of 2008, he had two songs added in rotation for four months on XM Radio's "The Loft" and his single "The Beast Within" played on AAA stations across the country. Other past career achievements include his song "I Saw Stars" selected from over 25,000 entrants as one of 20 finalists on American Idol's inaugural American Idol Songwriter competition in 2007. Reed has also been a finalist at the International Songwriting Competition several times and has performed with Tim Reynolds (Dave Mathews), Stephen Kellogg and many other artists in venues across the country. A native of Destin Florida and a graduate of the University of Florida, Reed is quickly adapting to his new home in Boston, where he'll continue to follow his musical muse wherever it takes him.

"Waddle isn't playing the game like the average up and coming musician. he opted instead to charge out of the gates writing and recording music that could be appreciated by millions. After spinning this disc a few times.we can't help but think that, with the right backing, this guy could become hugely famous in no time. He has an incredibly smooth voice.and his songs are bound to strike a chord with people. LMNOP.com
