Red Sun Rising is a hard rock band from the Rubber City of Akron, Ohio. Red Sun Rising has grown significantly since its formation in 2008. RSR consists of Mike Protich (vocals), Ryan Williams (Guitar), Tyler Valendza (Guitar), Mark Matthews (bass) and Adam Mercer (drums). Some accomplishments include: winning Cleveland's hard rock band of the year, appearing on several television shows, as well as performances with: Shinedown, Chevelle, Sevendust , 10 Years, Puddle Of Mudd, Sponge, 7 Mary Three, The Used, and Days Of The New to name a few. With these shows and a steady amount of regional radio play, RSR's fan base is constantly growing. In the past year Red Sun Rising has released two full length albums (Red Sun Rising) and (Making Of Kings). RSR has also released two major music videos and several acoustic videos.
