My passion, my love, my commitment. I will continue to treat her right. My passion for music started at an early age. I was born in Winnipeg, Manitoba and moved to Toronto at the tender age of 1. Being of Guyanese and Trinidadian decent gave me an open window to many genres of music (ie. Indian, Reggae, Soca, Steel Pan) and my parents growing up in Winnipeg provided me with a very structured influence from the Classic Rock, 80's Pop genre. I was raised in Scarborough, Ontario in an area known as McCowan and Eglinton and lived there til I was 16, before moving to an area known as Ajax. As a youth I was absolutely in love with hip hop. I grew up listening to Wu-Tang, The LOX, Big Pun, Big L and many others. As a child I wrote poetry to express myself, this talent would later evolve into writing verses and hooks. After my relocation to Ajax, I began attending a new high school known as Pickering High, it was here where I befriended Matthew J. Samuels (known as Boi-1da) who had just started making beats and invited me to join a group known as SG (Straight Grimey) eventually two other producers by the name of Tyler Williams (T-Minus) and Jeff Williams (J-Wills) would come to join SG as well. Being friends with these talented and motivated individuals provided me with the drive and commitment I needed to evolve as an artist. Before SG would disband, I befriended another rising producer by the name of Jaswinder Singh (Jazzfeezy) who also came to join SG. He aspired and studied tediously under the guidance of Boi-1da and T-Minus, as well as attending Harris Music School to become the producer and to get where he is today. He has now released his first compilation album titled "Unveiling the Rapture" which myself among other Canadian artists have contributed towards. Please support Canadian music.
