and Marco: Drums. This lineup continued to gig the local area throughout 2006 recording 2 demos in the process. Ben left Red Mist in early 2007 for personal reasons and was replaced by Jass. The band put out the 'In The Cold Light Of Day' EP and began writing songs that would take the band to a new level; heavier, faster and with bigger hooks and break downs than anything they've done before. In 2007 Red Mist opened up for bands such as Exit Ten, Hed P.E., Panic Cell and Raging Speedhorn.

The EP 'Locusts' was released in April 2008 to strong reviews during which time Red Mist increased their reputation as an intense live act. During 2008 Red Mist played to their largest crowds to date sharing festival stages with varied acts such as Skindred, Exit Ten and Pitchshifter.
