"This is the best live dvd I've seen released from any independent metal band, ever."
-Jon K (Pit Magazine)

"REBIRTH is reborn with 'The Process Of Obliteration' which offers more sophisticated playing along with their trademark raw energy."
-Jon K (Pit Magazine)

"Their first album is raw, powerful, aggressive, and just overall damn good."
-Jon K (Pit Magazine)

Do you like your metal to be brutal? Then the new album from Rebirth is for you. It features songs to rival the likes of Slayer such as "Anthem of the Black Hearted" and "In the Wake of Desperation". The music is hard hitting and powerful in ways that very few bands capture. The album is well worth the money for anyone who likes metal that is pure adrenaline. It’s a must have album for anyone likes intense, edgy, in your face metal.

Metal of the most American breed, Seattle's Rebirth (we are actually from Arizona) display their live show with a fairly high-energy hometown set.(was not a hometown set) Showcasing the band's true metal form via a mesh of thrash, death, and hardcore elements, Rebirth definitely holds down a wicked frontline metal attack.
-Metal Maniacs Sept. 07

"Led by Marshall Beck, Rebirth turns out to be a more dynamic entity that I had previously estimated. Add superb sound quality to the equation, and Rebirth takes on an entirely new personality. Although many of the tunes sound similar (it's their sound, man) there are dynamics on several songs like Castrating The Insecure where the vocalist calms it down a bit and actually sings normal, resulting in a much better product. Also an effort has been made for splendid "breaks" of deep flowing instrumentation that broaden the work as a whole."
-Crave Magazine

"Lately it seems that a lot of good metal is pouring out of Arizona. Such is the case with Rebirth a hard metal band hailing from Scottsdale. Marshall Beck’s vocals bite, scream and harmonize their way into your permenant pysche.
For this review I listened to several Rebirth songs off their latest CD "The Process of Obliteration"which was recorded at Full Well Studios and engineered by Mike Bolenbach. My favorite has got to be "In the Wake of Desperation " which is a hard driving crunching song with great lead guitars. Finally, after all these years of mediocre metal true raw power and force returns. This band brings all the good pieces to the table, great lead vocals, biting guitars with brilliantly worked solos and a powerfully raw rythm section. It is so refreshing to hear guitars return as a centerpoint to metal music to once again inspire a new generation of axe grinders. It is also refreshing to understand the lyrics and hear some harmony from time to time. I then checked out "Anthem of the Black Hearted" a driving kicking metal song with throaty vocals, and great driving guitars. This is not weak watered down radio metal and it takes no prisoners, so if you like hard music and heavy metal you should check out Rebirth. This band will be rising to the top of the metal rungs very quickly."

The kind of metal that sucks? The kind of metal that rules? The kind made by people who grew up watching profesional wrestling! Guess which group Rebirth belongs too? Happily the ladder. The band is led by muscular bravado Marshall Beck, who lowers his voice to a growl while announcing each song and peppers each second of banter with more f-bombs than we can print with good concience here.To paraphrase Beck "If you have metal in god damn souls and eat and breathe this shit," then you should own their dvd and live album.

5 out of 5 stars Great album! and this guitarist, DAMN!
Reviewer: Chris
This album goes back to the roots of metal but still fresh! The music ranges from blazing fast with solos to calm and crushing. Deffenetly worth checking out.

5 out of 5 stars Finally, rock music with SOLOS!!
Reviewer: John Ulmer
Finally, a heavy-metal/rock album with SOLOS! Awesome stuff, reminded me of a mix between Pantera, Iron Maiden and Metallica.
