"They combine acoustic tracks, third-wave ska, skacore, and alternative rock, and raise comparisons all the way from Hall-of-Fame frontman Ray Davies to cult-like World Inferno Friendship Society to national third-wave band Big D and the Kids Table. I havent had a chance to see Razbari Sumthing perform yet, but I hear that they are equally great live. I recommend seeing them on their Spring/Summer tour when they hit your town!" [Dylan @ punknews.org, Reviewing "The Great Distraction"]

"Let me tell you a little something about the 5-piece out of Syracuse: They were, hands down, the surprise of the festival. In the crowded category of ska-punk, they rise up over the rest with an excellent blend of energetic performances, stage antics, and just incredibly catchy tunes. Not to mention they were cool dudes outside their performance. I highly, highly advise that anyone reading this check them out, you wont regret it." [Vincent M, Punknews.org reviewing Ska Weekend 2006]

"Their 13 track release, entitled The Great Distraction, is a compilation of musical variety and professionalism that I've been rocking out to for weeks now. There's so much content on this disc that I needed time to absorb it all, and I think I'm still going to miss some of the subtleties. Every time I listen to The Great Distraction, I come across yet another aspect that makes this disc a true masterpiece." [Todd Springer, CTska.com, reviewing "The Great Distraction"]

"This band jams out, funks up, and rocks out around a chewy ska center. Mmm-mmm. The musicality is astounding and interesting in its non-traditional noodling. This is no doubt how they'll win over new fans

who aren't necessarily hardcore Two-Tone." [Frank De Blase, Rochester

City News, reviewing "The Great Distraction"]

"It's not everyday you come across a band who literally overwhelms the

listener with talent, excitement, and the craving for more, even more

notably, after seven tracks." [Brandon Allin, AbsolutePunk.net, reviewing "Forget The Words"]

Razbari Sumthing may have a funny name, but those that have seen them perform remember them more for their explosive live show featuring flowing harmonies and manic stage energy. In 2006, they were voted as "best new artist" in their hometown and then embarked on a 6 week national tour across 21 states, covering over 14,000 miles. Along the way, they've now played major music festivals in California, Kansas, Ohio, Tennessee and New York. They now have dedicated fans in every region of the country.

Music critics also respect Razbari Sumthing, voting their most recent album "The Great Distracton" as the "best modern rock recording" of the 2006. The band is notorious for powerful instrumental solos, reflective of their classical and jazz training, and for constant experimentation over formula. They are currently writing new songs for their next album, while doing some regional touring.

Razbari Sumthing has shared the stage with Alkaline Trio, World/Inferno Friendship Society, The Toasters, Catch 22, The Pietasters, Big D and the Kids Table, Mustard Plug, MU330, The Planet Smashers, The Aggrolites, Mike Park and many more.
