Ever since its inception, Hip Hop (and the Hip Hop culture) has been viewed (& reported), by the media, as a fad, a waste, a scourge of society and as being riotous, along with other demeaning & demoralizing terms! DJs, MCs, B-boys/girls and Graf Artists of the 70s/80s have grown older, wiser, and become vital components of the Hip Hop and Corporate communities. Although Hip Hop has blossomed into a multi-billion dollar industry, its culture (& community) is constantly blamed for the ills of society! The modern day counterparts of the Old School artists continue to convey the true spirit (coming together to have fun) of Hip Hop, while providing a means of expression for the disenfranchised masses. Hence the need for THE MOVEMENT



What is THE MOVEMENT?



The foundation of THE MOVEMENT (or Unifying the Masses) is built on unifying the Hip Hop generation for the common goal of uplifting our culture and bettering the Hip Hop community worldwide. Changing the mindset of the people within those communities and holding them accountable for their actions is the only way we can accomplish this! We must provide an honest and positive portrayal of our communities, celebrate/give thanks for our history & way of life, educate and inform! In turn this will equip us with the common ground needed for the masses to unite, thereby re-implementing family values, providing a sense of hope & self-respect, along with creating business networks and empowering us to regain control of our communities!



THE MOVEMENT is a four (4)-part mission, designed to take over the media with the message of Self-Respect, Unity & Empowerment! This multi-media blitz (radio, film, print publication) is also geared toward discrediting and destroying the mythmaking machines that have proven to be a detriment to the unity of our people.



Part I THE MOVEMENT (Unifying the Masses): Bringing people together for the common goal of uplifting the World Wide Hip Hop culture and its communities.



THE MASTERPLAN



The plan is simple work with any and everyone who share the belief of unifying the Hip Hop Nation for the betterment of our communities. All artists and businessmen/women, who take their craft/skill seriously and are willing to work toward this goal, are encouraged and welcomed to work on this endeavor. Each project will include an album, DVD documentary and magazine. These 3 media outlets will be used to edu-tain the masses. This project will be marketed nationally, as well as internationally. As THE MOVEMENT grows & progresses, it is our intention that it will spread around the world!



GOALS



1) To provide an alternate source (i.e. non-commercial) of Hip Hop/Urban Music.

2) To create a worldwide network of independent artist and business people.

3) To positively influence the minds of our consumers.

4) To establish a network of positive-minded media outlets that will counteract the negative/propaganda press of mainstream media. This information will be published for the masses.
