BIOGRAFIA:
Durante o inicio do ano de 2001, surge o grupo Raptórica que pouco a pouco se tem vindo a assumir no panorama do Hip Hop underground português. Este grupo distingue-se pelas suas boas sonoridades, pelos seus textos, versatilidade e produções; e é prova de que o Hip Hop underground português continua bem vivo e repleto de qualidade. E é neste contexto, que no final de 2007, Raptórica lança de forma independente o seu album de estreia de nome “Poesia”.
Durante estes 8 anos, Di Márzio, K.O e Mobutu (Márcio Noites, Gonçalo Castanho e Victor Correia) estiveram empenhados neste projecto árduo e em constante evolução sempre demonstrando grande força de vontade e independência, organizando vários concertos, participando em diversos festivais e em algumas compilações (Corpos Garagem vol.1, Zebtape vol.1 Special Portugal, compilação Espíritos Livres, Sons de Palco 1). A esta lista, juntar-se-à brevemente a participação no lançamento DVD (Sons Urbanos) a convite do PalcoPrincipal, e ainda a participação na segunda mix tape da IV Street para inicio de Março.
O seu primeiro trabalho de nome “Poesia” é composto por 15 faixas e conta com temas fortes tais como: “Poesia”, “Quem me dera”, “Sociedade”, “Pelas ruas”, “Imigrante” e “Luta pa bu Vida”; encontramos também temas mais alegres tais como o “Jogo da Rima” ou o “Dia D’alegria”; como também temas mais underground como o “Art di um cultura”, musica em francês e crioulo, ou “A Saga Continua” que simboliza a continuação por parte do grupo Raptórica. Apesar deste album não contar com intérpretes conhecidos no panorama do Hip Hop nacional, os convidados souberam enriquecê-lo através das suas qualidades e das suas diferentes características. Será de acrescentar que este album foi gravado e misturado pelos próprios em Home Studio e masterizado nos estudíos CROSSOVER em Linda-a-Velha. O CD encontra-se actualmente à venda através dos sites de Raptórica.
Vejamos então os principais locais por onde passaram: Instituto Portugês da Juventude, Lótus Bar Cascais, Comvento Club, B.Leza, Musicbox Lisboa, Festival de Música Moderna de Oeiras, Festival de Soure e Entroncamento, Excalibar, Mood Bar, 1ª Mostra de Arte Urbana na Sociedade Guilherme Cossoul, Golive Bar em Algueirão, Blá Blá em Matosinhos, Long beach Bar, Equalizador07 no Santiago Alquimista, Sons Urbanos no Forum da Maia (PalcoPrincipal), Club Mau Mau no Porto, entre outros.
BIOGRAPHY:
Raptórica came up in the beginning of 2001 and, step by step, it has built and achieve the deserve recognition in Portuguese underground Hip-Hop scene. You can recognize Raptorica productions by their sonority, lyrics and versatility and they are for sure a life prove that the Portuguese underground hip hop is alive and full of quality. In this context they release their first CD, “Poesia”, in the last days of 2007, a work fruit of their hard job and perseverance and as a independent production.
The group are the producer/dj Di Márzio, and the Mc’s K.O e Mobutu (Márcio Noites, Gonçalo Castanho and Victor Correia) and during the last seven years they have been working in this project with commitment and passion, trying to be in constant evolution and always showing signs of strength and union to overcome the difficulties that a independent production always face. They have been giving some cool concerts in discos and music events and they have in their record some interesting participations in Portuguese Hip-Hop compilations (Corpos Garagem vol.1, Zebtape vol.1 Special Portugal, compilação Espíritos Livres, Sons de Palco 1). They are now looking forward to participate in the Project of a DVD (Sond Urbanos by www.palcoprincipal.com) after the invitation of PalcoPrincipal, and a participation in the second mix tape of the IV Street shop, in the beginning of March.
In their first work, “Poesia” they show their skills and power during 15 tracks, whit some strong teams like “Poesia”; “Quem me dera”; “Sociedade”; “Pelas ruas”; “Imigrante”; “Art di um Cultura”; some funny and party teams like “Jogo da Rima”; “Dia D’alegria” and some more “underground” teams like “Luta pa bu Vida”, a lyric that was written in French and Crioulo, and “A Saga Continua”, that represents the vitality and future of the group. “Poesia” didnt include reputated names of Portuguese Hip-Hop scene but the cooperation of some invited underground artists and friends bring new perspectives and talent to the CD, showing once again the versatility and quality of this independent production. All the production of the CD was “home made” in a brand new home studio and was masterized in CROSSOVER studios – Linda-a-Velha.
