Hi, if you've found me from http://www.myspace.com/RandyLosoya - thank you for making the trip here! All the songs I post here are my songs, or songs I've produced here at my home studio.some may be co-written and I'll list names if there are any other studio musicians or co-writers. I've been writing songs for about 20 years, started when I was 15 and have been writing stories since about age 6 - so music was bound to happen for me from the 1st time I ever heard the Beatles. And of course Elvis, Ray Charles, Lloyd Price, and a lot of 50's music. I don't write just any one style - as over the years I've been influenced by anyone making great music.
I learned to record back in 1999 and since then have recorded mostly home style stuff. I produced a CD for an Artist called Troublesome you can check out here: http://cdbaby.com/cd/troublesome.
In 2004 co-created Nashville2u held in Houston, TX, which was a conference for Songwriters, Artists and Record Labels hoping to learn more about the music business from real people in Nashville. Our panel included Grammy Winning Songwriters and Producers, including Cliff Audretch who signed the Dixie Chicks to Sony.
Since there's no room elsewhere to put info, I'll list my personal info here. Married to Krissi. I'm 36 going on 85, Roman Catholic, huge Beatles fan, love reading books and learning anything new that I can understand.grew up in Palacios and am very proud of our small town back home, we have 3 dogs right now, and are trying to actually start having human babies. I want to keep posting new songs here so if you dropped by today, please come back in a week or 2 and I'll have posted some new ones, or old ones. I've written probably 500 or so, but haven't recorded each of them. I work at Ineos which used to be called Innovene which used to be called BP which used to be called BP Amoco which used to be called Amoco as a Lab Analyst at Chocolate Bayou. I produce Artists in my home studio who will allow me to work with their music and vision, and I love spending my days off Recording music and visiting with my family.
