At the end of 2000, Drago was recruited by the brutal death metal band Kabak, which recorded “Cronicas del Quirofano” album, at the beginning of 2001; by May 2001, Rodrigo Fatality, Kabak’s drummer and voice (frontman of Finnish band called Kataplexia actually) was hired as a studio musician for recording the drum samples for the first Raices Tordicas independent album called Evolucion, released on December 2001.

In the same year, new members joined the band. Diego Flamenco on drums, Edwin Cruz on bass, and on May 2002, Ricardo Peraza joins on rhythm guitar, Together, they began the “Evolucion de las Maquinas 2002” tour, in collaboration with the El Salvador Rocker’s Club and its actual president, Mr. Edwin Marinero, touring most of the Central America region, with shows on Guatemala, El Salvador and Nicaragua, during the “Central America Independent Fest”, sharing the stage with local and international bands. By the end of 2002, Raices Torcidas began the pre-production material of what became their second album called Virus.

In April 2003, the band enters studio again for the making of their second album entitled Virus, which is co-produced by Nocturnal Entertainment Productions of El Salvador, During July 2003, they began touring again with the Finnish band Deep Red, in the Central American Tour entitled “Brutales Masacres”, icluding Guatemala, Honduras, Nicaragua and Costa Rica.

By September 2003, Raices Torcidas goes into a deep reorganization, due the personal musical interests within their members, with a more aggressive Brutal Death Metal tendency.

New changes arrive, Ricardo Peraza leaves the band, and Eduardo Borja takes his place as a guitarist and second voice (member of Maruta actually).

In November of that same year, Eduardo Borja leaves the band; with out its fourth element, the band limped.

In January 2006, the band started the new production called DIGITAL METAL FLESH, and if everything happens according to their plans, this material is going to come out in the beginning of 2007.

In August 2006, Rodrigo fatality decide to produce RT’s third album and to record it under Jani’s loikas hand at “CURSED STUDIOS”, in Finland.(studio where Deep Red and Kataplexia have recorded before) And after one month of recording sessions, the band was satisfied with the new material, and besides the two prior albums this one is totally in English (to make the expansion of the band easier) but the bands always keeps its name in Spanish “RAICES TORCIDAS”

In January of 2007, Edwin Cruz leaves the band, Ciro Rotten Bass (Bass) and Jorge Grind (Guitar) (former members of Kabak) joins on.

The band did their first video High Tech Weapons (part of the new album) and DVD to include it with the new material. And that is how the search of a new record deal begins.

In January 2007 the band do a deal with American Line Production, just for the distribution of the independent Digital Metal Flesh album in 2007.

February 08, Diego leave the band, Eddy Wolf take the drummer place.

July 07 are the tour in C.A. to the presentation of the new album DMF.

May 08 the band started the creation of the fourt album.
