Rik-E-Ragga

Ricci Nayna aka Rik-E-Ragga. Born in London, England, he is of Mauritian decent & now living in Melbourne, Australia & has so for most of his life.

He is the Lead singer of Jahmakn it Funky alongside brother G9er. The two brothers just took part in X Factor Australia 2010 where their goal was to promote reggae music & bring it to a wider audience in Australia. They made it through to the top 6 of the groups & were mentored by Guy Sebastian who took them to Los Angeles & New York to perform for Snoop Dogg & Usher who were very impressed with their voices.

In January 2010, Rik-E-Ragga & band Jahmakn it Funky had the honour of playing the "Raggamuffin End of Tour Party" where he got to share the stage with Shaggy, Julian Marley, Rayvon, House Of Shem, Lead singer of Blue King Brown, Steele Pulse & Lauryn Hills Band. A couple of years ago they opened for Jessica Mauboy at an exclusive private party.

Rik-E-Ragga has recorded with another local reggae band JahRukus who have released an album & he is featured on the track "In Motion". He also features on the Menace to Society mixtape by rapper Leegit on the track "Run This City".

Rik-E-Ragga is currently collaborating with many different artists for his solo project "The World Around Me". A few tracks have been completed so far including

"All I Need", "Walking Down The Avenue" & "Nothing Goes My Way" Ft Espejismo.
