Hey there! Welcome to my myspace page! I’m Rachel Ferguson. First off I just want to say a big THANK YOU to you for taking the time out of your busy day to stop by my page and listen to some songs! It really means a lot to me that you like them and if you don’t… that’s okay too!

I wrote these songs with producer Chris Landon over the internet. How it works is he sends me the instrumental track via e-mail, I write the lyrics, record at home and send it back to him. We’ve never met but I hope to take a trip down there in the future.

I live in Aylmer Quebec Canada, it’s a pretty small town right across the river from Ottawa. I'm eighteen, I’ve been singing for eight years and playing guitar for two. I really love music. Some of my favourite bands are: Yeah Yeah Yeahs, Black Rebel Motorcycle Club, Gogol Bordello, The Sounds, Blondie, The Cranberries, Metric, Feist, Regina Spektor, Juliette and the Licks and The Killers. I listen to a lot of Indie-Rock but I’m also a sucker for an infectious pop song, I think Avril is great, I love Rihanna and I think Justin Timberlake is a genius.

I also love movies. When I’m not listening to music, busking in the Byward Market or hanging out with my dog Bandit, I’m probably watching a movie. I have an enormous crush on Leonardo Dicaprio and have been known to have marathons of his movies. Some of my favourite movies are Little miss sunshine, The royal tenenbaums, The Basketball Diaries, The Life Aquatic, Rushmore, Zoolander and pretty much anything with Kevin Spacey in it…

I love learning new things and meeting new people so if you ever see me around you should come say hey!
