Kool peeps. My musical name is R1 but i don't just do music ya herdd. Im gna jus give ya a lil insight on how i got to were i am now in wat i do. I started listenin to grime back in the day, im talkin Devilman and Midland Maf on Silk times, n a good friend of mine JJ told me i shud get on da scene b4 it blew up. At da time i wasn't really feelin it and doubted ma abilities to eva even make a tune sum1 wud wna listen 2. Even with this in mind i started writing bars jus so i could back ma brejin on lil bedroom sets and shit. We used to record wid a 1 pound mic on Sound Recorder den try bang dem round msn lyk dey was sumtin sik lol. Couple manz herd ma flo and da content i was comin wid and was feeling it but still i didnt ave da confidence to record nutin serious. Done ma first real set up kingshurst wid Blizzard JJ Blitz and Venom. Lets jus say i wasnt made for sets lol. As times progressed i starting flowing wid Bornagain at college n i started to write wid a bit more content. Caliber den introduced me to Gbeats who sent me the Street Life beat, i was truely impressed and got Bornagain in on the tune. Casper then found out about it and we all got da tune done eventually. At the same i laced anova 1 of Gbeats bangers which rli got my name about. It was about dis time Me and Sharman got fruityloops and starting making beats. Lets jus say the beats were far from bangers. As wid all things practice makes perfect and da beats got better n we started farsin wid Reason and got certain mc's on da beats which improved. As i was in ma last year @ college i started doing designin and it seemed i had a natural flare for it so i stuck @ it ya nuh redi!!!! I joined a click called Flatline and am lookin to make movements in all da 3 things i do, so watch dis space!
