Hello everyone,
This is just to let you know that this site is managed and monitored by my management team.
I was 18 years old in March. I cut my first CD when I was twelve years old. On that CD, I recorded Coal Miners Daughter, a great song from a great lady.Loretta Lynn.
I opened for Carolyn Dawn Johnson in 2004 and, won second place at the age of 12 in a Colgate Country Showdown, also in 2004. I also sang on Loretta Lynn's stage in 2005 at her ranch.
In June of 2006, I won first place in a Colgate Country Showdown in Wolf Point, Montana.
My performances are mostly in North Dakota and some in Montana, Minnesota, and South Dakota. One of my favorite things to do, is to sing for benefits to help people out. I love reading, horses, cats, basketball, and spending time with my friends. I hope one day to be a Country Western Singer and Performer.
Currently, I have a blue belt in Tae Kwon Do. I enjoy that very much. In the last tournament that I participated in, I won first in Sparring; first in Forms, and first in Breaking. I broke three boards with a Running, Jumping Side-Kick.
I love to sing Loretta Lynn, Patsy Cline, Leeann Rimes, Wynonna, Leeann Womack, Reba and many others. I sin songs of Lee Greenwood and Darryl Worley. These listed, among others are some of my favorite singers.
I also like MercyMe, Vestal and Howard Goodman, Megan Mullins, Newsboys, Petra, Allan Jackson, Chris Young, Rick Monroe, Johnny Rodes, Kelly McDonald, Trick Pony, Pam Tillis, Steve Holy, Miranda Lambert, Carolyn Dawn Johnson, Gary Allan, George Strait, Faith Hill, Tim McGraw, and Willie Nelson. Den Hollinden is also my good friend and a good singer.
And, I also like Tanya Tucker, Amy Grant, Lorrie Morgan, Carrie Underwood, and many I cannot think of right now. My dream is to make it in Nashville. I may not have performed with many of the stars, but the stars are what I'm reaching for, and how far I want to go.
The summer of 2007, I cut my first major CD at Nashville Custom Recording in Nashville. There are 12 songs on the CD. Three are here on my site that you can hear. The CD is out and is getting rave reviews. Get yours today!
In May of 2008, I was awarded the Silver Heart Awards from the Country Gospel Music Association (CGMA) for 2008 Teenage Performer of the Year, and 2008 Yodeler of the Year. That was an automatic nomination for the same categories at the International Convention held in Branson every year.
At the International Convention of the CGMA in October of 2008 in Branson, I was awarded the Golden Heart Awards for 2008 International Teenage Performer of the Year, as well as 2008 International Yodeler of the Year.
I am honored to represent the CGMA and to be a recipient of these awards, as they were awarded to me by the CGMA members. It is not a contest. It is not judged. Members of CGMA decide who receives the honor of the awards, just as the Country Music Association does for their members.
In New Mexico on June 22, 2009 I was again named 2009 Western Division Teenage Performer of the Year and 2009 Western Division Yodeler of the Year by CGMA. I will be going to Branson in October to participate at the International level in same categories.
I opened for Bellamy Brothers August of 2008 in Washburn, North Dakota. I had a great time meeting them and taking pictures with them. They are very nice guys.
I love rodeo and anything about rodeo. I have always wanted to barrel race but it never worked out. I love bull riding, and saddle bronc. Just all of it!
I do my best to answer my messages and e-mails. But, with school and singing its hard to do. But, I do appreciate my family and friends.
When you first become my friend I try to give you a welcome comment. But, with things as busy as they are, I don't always get to answer comments or messages.
