Pure Dead Brilliant Music aims to be THE place to go for up-to-date news, reviews and information on the Scottish music scene, with regular showcase gigs - where any profits will go towards bigger and better events in the future. We regularly review a selection of local and (inter)national artists; providing an in-depth run down of gigs, from small local venues to major events.



We pride ourselves on bringing the best new music to the people of Scotland, scouting out the best talent, so you don't have to. Our gigs differ from most other locally run events, in that we strive to put on the best possible line up and hand pick the bands for our shows - rather than just choose a date then call for any old band to fill it (as many promoters do!). How often have you been to a gig and felt like the line up was thrown together? That's probably because it was! This kind of thing doesn't happen at a PDB Music gig - rest assured!
