Punky Animals

A Thai thrash metal-based hardcore group Punky Animals started out as a group of guys with the belief of the power of music and the independent-going lifestyle. Many things have come and gone away. The band has grown up after a long journey through the tiny world of Thai underground music scene that's getting bigger everyday. As a small band, Punky Animals has always been the representation of guys who really absorbed to music; really love the magical entertainment and feeling it gives to men. Nothing's gonna stop them from being like this.



Punky Animals' music is the combination of the oldschool and the newage heavy metal style. Bill, the guitarist, a band's original member, is like the member who sketchy controls the surface of the bands music. His guitaring background is influenced by enormous oldschool thrash metal idols like Kerry King(Slayer), Kirk Hammett(Metallica), also the hardcore new-wavers' sounds from the bands like Hatebreed, Killswitch Engage and especially Heaven Shall Burn. Filled with the wheezing out hardcore vocal and blustering drums, their music is completed strongly and aggressively; the music will never be perfectly fulfilled if there are no such good members in the band.



Punky Animals' style can't be specifically centred out. But if you are a person who loves to hear some scent of the old-school and the agressive new wave headbanging-rythmic music, you'll like Punky Animals.
