The debut single If you only knew, produced by Rodney Jerkins soared to the top of Billboards R&B/Hip Hop charts and peaked .1 on October 19, 2002. Now with the sophomore album in production a different dimension has been added to the sound and It is promised to be a definite crowd pleaser for their young adult demographic. Inspired by musical greats like Stevie Wonder, Take Six, Fred Hammond, Brian McKnight and Boyz II Men, Prymary Colorz brings passion love and emotion to their music. Our sound comes from feeling. explains Josh. And our songs come from just being real and hoping people can relate.

Jonathan and his cousin Raj started singing in church and talent shows during their high school years in Charlotte, NC. They hooked up with Josh and another member to form soft sounds. After graduation, they took a break for a year but their passion for music would quickly bring the three back together. Prymary Colorz as we now know them had been formed and the quartet has been inseparable ever since. Everyone says blood is thicker than water. Well, we say were thicker than blood. We see each other more as brothers. We truly are a family. explains Jonathan.

This family is no stranger to struggle. After performing all over Charlotte, NC. including singing the National Anthem for the local NBA team, The Charlotte Hornets, Josh, Raj, and Jonathan set a deadline to leave town and follow their dreams. They piled in Joshs two-seater pick up truck and journeyed eight hours to Tampa, Florida, on what turned out to be a false promise. The stayed in Florida, struggling to make ends meet and performing whenever they could. We always believed so strongly in this that we wouldnt let anything stop us, say Josh of the groups hard times. Thats always been our mentality and were going to take that mentality to the top.

An acquaintance talked them into attending a showcase in St. Petersburg, FL. While waiting in line, they playfully sang for a young lady. At intermission the young lady found them and begged for another song. She quickly ran and brought back the first of several Big3 Records executives to come and hear them sing. They were invited to the after party where they showed off their impressive vocal ability for almost two hours. Three weeks later Prymary Colorz was signed to Big3 Records.

During the frantic time of their debut album promotion, They toured as an opening act for Brian McKnight, Performed on Soul Train as well as being the featured performers on TV's Showtime at the Apollo. The Video for If you only knew, Feat. Rah Digga was on high rotation on BET, and were featured any many different magazine articles around the country. This year, they formed the entertainment company NuSoul, offering services in music production and event promotion.

Former Big3 CEO Qadree El-Amin believes Prymary Colorz represents where music is headed. Prymary Colorz is a solid act. with solid, unquestionable talent. The marketplace is primed and ready for an act like this. R&B is back. They are going to ink their spot in history and become a staple in stereos around the world for many, many, years to come
