Prudo

Prudo, aka Marzio Aricò is a music producer based in Italy.

His sound is a mix of tech-house, minimal and electronica.

He produces music for the evolved dance floor, intelligent, never taken for granted; music for the heart, the head and the feet of the international club culture.

Eclat & Prudo is the project born in 2004 from his friendship with fellow citizen Eclat. Published by label such as Music For Freaks, Wash House, PIAS Recordings and Mood Music all their tracks have been charted, supported and played by the best international djs. In 2005 he teamed up with friend Superjuno to produce tracks for Tenax Recordings and Dirt Crew Recordings. Marzio was also the main member/creator of Italian band DRM. Their debut album Haiku boasts important collaboration with artists as the Germans To Rococo Rot and was acclaimed like one of the more interesting Italian electronic music album ever made.

in 2006 in collaboration with Francesco by Eclat he started a new minimal-house project called Alfa Romero. Their first tracks releases by the german label Players Paradise have been supported by all the best djs in the minimal scene climbing many minimal selling charts.

Their remix for Eriko Tanabe/Davide Squilace have been enclose in the Fabric CDMIX 31 mixed by Marco Carola.

In the same year Marzio releases tracks and remix for Mood Music (GER), Thugfucker Recordings (USA/FRA), Minisketch (SPA), Dirt Crew Recordings (GER). Morris Audio (SWI), Titibit (ITA), Globox (ITA).

In 2007 Prudo have been working on many new releases for label such Dirt Crew Rec./Players Paradise (GER), Freak'n'Chic (FRA), Lo-Fi Stereo (GER), Registrazioni Italiane (ITA), Deep in Rhythm (GER) and Minisketch (SPA). One of his side project Alfa Romero tracks has been enclosed in the last CD Session of Ministry of Sound (UK) mixed by Harry Choo Choo Romero.

Alongside its producer activity Marzio plays live and DJs on important music festival stages as well as the most important and renowned Italian and european clubs such as Weekend (Berlin), Tenax (Florence), Privilege (Ibiza), Sonar (Barcelona), ItaliaWave (Florence), Underground (Ibiza), etc

He's working now on setting up his own label that will be called "ALFA ROMERO Recordings".

Marzio is the producer of the new Jean 'Binta' Breeze's album called "Eena Me Corner". Jean Binta Breeze is one of the most important, influential performance jamaican poets of recent years. His partner in crime here is the british reggae guru and dub master Dennis Bovell. The album will be out late 2009.
