Fritz and Jeff are best friends - the likes of which you find only once in a blue moon. Their Christmas odyssey began one day not too long ago in Fritz's tiny home studio, when for the first time they decided to record and produce one Christmas song every day for a week. The tradition has continued, and all sorts of magic has happened along the way. Not only do Fritz and Jeff play every single instrument you'll hear on their records, but they've recently dated twins (last week), been snowed in together, pondered Christmas on the beach in Las Vegas, performed with Jesca Hoop, NOT performed with Richard Cheese (true story), combined eggnog with every possible hard liquor, and made bundles of new friends along the way. So dedicated are they that they'll learn instruments they don't even know how to play, if that's what the song needs (Jeff "learns" the sax "Rockin' Around the Christmas Tree"; Fritz "masters" the accordion for "Blue Christmas"). Brilliantly perfect with n'ere a wrong note or forgotten lyric (see "Sleigh Ride"), they now add a brand new cinnamon spice to the holiday tradition by delivering to you their first, all-original, hot-off-the-recording-block Christmas ballad: "Happy Here on Christmas."
