Chicago Rapper ProbCause was raised in the recording studio. He grew up under the wings of many of the city's great independent musicians and artists including his older brother, DJ Grimmace - a respected and accomplished sound engineer and producer. By the age of 15 ProbCause began recording and performing regularly around Chicago and the Midwest, gaining a cult following for his hometown classic hit, entitled "Evanston Song." The Chicago MC has come far since his teenage days and has since then put out two full length albums under several independent Chicago labels.
With a lifetime of experience under his belt, 23 year-old ProbCause is easily one of the best-kept secrets in Chicago. With a polished and assured sound that spans far outside the boundaries of hip-hop- Prob seamlessly jumps from Dubstep – to Electronic- to R&B than back to a classic boom-bap gritty rap sound.
