Peanut / Prince of the Rich

Peanut also known as Peanut of The Fendi Boyz also know as Prince of the Rich is a Richmond resident. Grew up in the Southside of Richmond California he has been in the music game since 1997-1998. It all started back when Peanut was in the 11th grade where he met group member & now long time friend Kayda! The two hit it off from the jump wit their unique different but similar style of music. They were both solo artist at the time making songs together & with other high school friends Kaynine & A2ThaK who at the time were a group known as "H2O". Peanut would join Kaynine's H2O group but would also remain close friends with Kayda. By the end of Peanut's senior year of high school he and Kayda would hook up with Peanut's older cousin and up & coming rapper by the name of Johnny Ca$h who at the time just released his group album with fellow family members "YS" & "Pete Eruption" known as "Da Hoodfellaz"! For the next year & a half Peanut & Kayda would record music together and as solo artist until one day Peanut's cousin Johnny Ca$h would invite them to meet bay area legendary producer "Rob Lo" known for his production and affiliation with "The Mob Figaz". They hit it off real well and Rob Lo felt the energy the two young rapper's brought to the studio and along with Johnny Ca$h put the two together and formed the group "Fendi Boyz". Now under the wing of Johnny Ca$h and Rob Lo, Peanut & Kayda began recording an album produced by Rob Lo and another buddy producer by the name of "Maki". After about six months of recording new material for the debut album recording suddenly came to a stop due to undisclosed reasons. But that didn't stop Peanut from pursuing his music career. Not long after Peanut and Kayda stopped recording with Rob Lo his cousin Johnny Ca$h who's career was beginning to take off had some good news for the duo. Ca$h and friend Rydah J Klyde of the Mob Figaz were going to do an album together under the late "Mac Dre's" label Thizz Ent. and he wanted to bring his two young protege's along with him! After Johnny Ca$h & Rydah would form one of the bay area's most popular grops to date known as the "Money Gang" would come the "Money Gang Mobb" also known as the "MGM" which is made up of "Money Gang, The Fendi Boy$, Pete Eruption, Meez, Trill Real, Thugga, Magnoila Chop, Young Los" & a host of others. As fate would have it one beautiful day turned tragic. Peanut would receive a life changing phone call that he says he would never forget! He got the news that cousin, friend, & ceo of MGM Ent. Johnny Ca$h had been murdered! Not to long after Peanut & Kayda began rcording non stop to keep there cousins music & dream alive. And that is to take MGM to the next level! Since then he has put out several projects. Money movement with The Fendi Boyz, Peanut & Kayda: The Prince & The Mayor, Prince of the Rich mixtape with Demolition Men, "Best of Both Hoods" with Philthy Rich coming soon and "Mobb Affiliated" with Dj J-Spin.

Peanut has also rocked shows in Gilroy, Las Vegas, Monterey, Santa Cruz, Oakland, Portland, Seattle, San Francisco, Sacramento, Fresno Summer Jam and Super Hyphy in Santa Rosa. That's just to name a few. He has also had the pleasure to work amongst artists such as: Johnny Ca$h (R.I.P), Rydah J. Klyde, Mistah FAB, PSD, J-Diggs, Dubee, Lil Bruce, Keak Da Sneak, A2ThaK (Future Gang), Bavgate, Magnolia Chop, Trilll Real, Nio Tha Gift, San Quinn, Philthy Rich, Beeda Weeda, J-Stalin, DoItMovin, Guce, The Pack, Kafani, Droop E, Kuzzo Fly, Sumthin Terrible, Rob-Lo and Maki of Blahk Operah, One Drop Scott, Young L (The Pack), Swamp Kat, DJ Fresh, DJ Backside, Demolition Men, DJ Quest, DJ Rick Lee and Cartier Entertainment, DJ Editt, DJ Rip 1& more!!
