Born and raised in the lower ninth ward also known as "C.T.C of New Orleans", Louis David aka "Prince Casa" survived the toughest of it all, not to mention, he is one of Katrina's survivors. His love for music was inculcated since a young child. This promising young star is determined to excel and leverage his music career.
It wasn't an easy walk in the park for Prince Casa growing up in the hood of New Orleans while dealing with family turmoil of his parents splitting when he was just 2 years old; bouncing back and forth for years between parents was a struggle for a child. For the most part and like others, Prince Casa had to learn things the hard way; being in and out of jail since 2001, he was beckoned to the street like the call of the wild and like delved deep into the dark and dangerous depths of what was reputed as "hustleville" and all that the fast life meant as a youth. However, the terrain of turmoil and terror was the 'bootcamp' that provided Prince Casa with basic training of survival mechanisms and combat techniques.
It was then the turning point of Prince's life when he moved permanently with his father when he was 15 yrs old. When asked, who is the most influential person in your life? He says, "my father, without my father I don't think I would be a free man right now. I was blessed to have a father that was strong enough to leave a dominate roll in the streets to take care of me." With the support and optimistic encouragement from his father and realizing his talent, Prince Casa decided to execute his passion for music coupled with the trappin and thuggin days, all the struggles of his life and put it down on the tracks. His big break came through when he got signed with Grimy Entertainment and it was from the experience of that first deal that helped him in emerging as a business man in addition to being an artist. After 10yrs of commitment and dedication to this hip hop game, it is evidence this is not just a hobby for him-it's his conviction. Young and wise as he is Prince Casa uses his once bad situation as a tool to create a better life for him. What is more authentic then to make music that shares priceless experience that so many artists and people can relate to?
Currently, Prince Casa is signed with Chettaban Records and has pending deals on the table. Once you listen to his music you will quickly noticed how creative, slick and savvy his tongue is. From lyrics like "Bad bitches love real nigga swagga", "swaggerific", "swaggalistic", "swagga vicious", "swagga savage" (Ima Pitt), "Not Ghandi I resort to violence mama said if he blow take the wind right out him (100% Gangsta)." Although boasting his accomplishment thus far as one of the hottest rappers out, he definitely didn't forget to credit those artists who he admires like Jay Z, T.I., and Young Jeezy. Look out for his lead single release song "Pop A Rubberban" from his debut album entitled "The Red Carpet Treatment."
Scorching the streetz leaving fans tweaking and twitching in anticipation for the next hit, Prince Casa continues to sharpen his craft and stop at nothing until he's on top of the game.
