Larry"Priest"Ware, aka Priest Da Nomad is a recording/mix engineer and an independent hip hop artist, out of the Washington DC area. As an artist, Priest has been a mainstay not only on the underground DC hip hop scene, but worldwide, with releases in Europe and Asia. Priest honed his MC skills as a member and co-facilitator of a well known arts organization, called the Freestyle Union. This organization of different crews of emcees was a highly respected community oriented mainstay, at the forefront of the DC arts movement. Workshops were held at universities, at DC and Baltimore public schools, and was featured on BET's Rap City and Fox News.

Priest Da Nomad's first release was a single called "Janeane", in 1997. It received mixshow rotation on WPGC(95.5) and WKYS(93.9), both in DC, in addition to college radio rotation. Subsequent singles and an ep followed until 2001. 2005 brought about a full length album entitled, "Mr.Moov Sumthin", with production by Oddisee, Choppy Chope Sounds, The Unknown, and Cyrus. The album has gotten stellar reviews from numerous online sites such as www.okayplayer.com, www.couchsessions.com, www.iroster.com, and many more. He is part of an indie collective along with Storm the Unpredictable, and Poem-cees, called SPP. The SPP Waxworks label has been successfully releasing 12inch vinyl singles, known as the "3 Piece Extra Mumbo Eps", each volume hitting number 1 on the U.S./Canada college internet radio rap singles charts in 2005.

Priest is also the subject of a supplemental textbook about the art of improvistion and the historical and cultural role of the emcee. The book, by Dr.William E. Smith,PH.D, is titled "Hip Hop as Performance and Ritual: A Biography and Ethnography in Underground Hip Hop"(www.clspublications.com).

2006 brought many more acolades and reviews, as well as appearances on compilation projects with other DC Soul artists such as Raheem Devaughn, W. Ellington Felton, etc. for the Habitat For Humanity nonprofit. In 2007 Priest, along with his SPP collective's album, released "Have A Nice Day!", which is a collective of songs from all 3 entities. Priest Da Nomad has been featured in publications such as The Source, Billboard, XXL, Sista to Sista, Rap Pages, Blaze, Washhington Post and the Washington Times.

Priest added to his resume in 2002 by becoming a recording/mixing engineer. He is currently a staff engineer at Omega Recording Studios in Rockville, MD, and has worked with talented artists and producers such as Ludacris, Raheem Devaughn, Dru Hill, Blake Lewis(American Idol), producer BT(Madonna, N'Sync, Tori Amos), Robin Thicke, Andre Harrell, Bizmarkie, Mya, Timelife Music, BET, Darryl Pearson, Davis Grei, producer Chink Santana, and more. He also teaches 4 different programs in the Recording Arts and Sciences.
