Precision Audioworks has been known as Western Pennsylvania's leader in professional audio production since 1992. As our facility has grown over the last 15 years, so has our expansive list of extremely satisfied clients.
We have brought together the best combination of recording environments and new technology in a relaxed, comfortable, creative atmosphere. Using "class A" mic pres, a wide selection of mics, and tons of outboard processors and plugins, we are positive we can get the sound you're after. To top it off, our experienced staff have the knowledge to help you capture your project just as you imagined. or quite possibly, better than you imagined!
Located just 15 minutes outside of downtown Pittsburgh, our new 4,000 sq.ft. building houses; our main studio featuring a huge main room, a large isolation room, a small isolation booth, and a full featured control room; a Midi production studio; a video production suite; a lounge equipped with satellite TV, DVD player, VCR, video game system, and a pool table; a full kitchen; dining room; and overnight accommodations.
Although we usually work with clients from start to finish, we also have plenty of clients who have home studios and use our facility to "fill in the gaps" of what their studio lacks. Whether you want to use our live room to track drums or guitars, or want to use our great sounding control room and all of our processing toys to mix what you've already recorded, our studio is your studio, so use it however you like! Don't forget that we also offer professional mastering for your studio or home recordings as well.
