Pray for Death site

Follow the dogs.

We're a "roving band of gypsies" that formed in the Riverwest neighborhood of Milwaukee, Wisconsin and after a slew of basement shows and a couple short tours departed to the southern state of Florida. Played a whole bunch of shows recorded an album and split up due to the departure of our vocalist Ludwig and bass player J-rad. We conspired with other vocalists, added a keyboard, and j-rad came back to tour for a few weeks in August 2004. We lost our drummer from it, but Lurch jumped in and we toured again in the Summer of 2005. We then regrouped in New Orleans in April 07 for a Couple of shows and had big hopes and dreams of recording and tour, but then drummer Lurch split without giving us any notice, let alone enough to find a new drummer before completing our plans. Now we're spread out across the country, still the restless gypsy-hearted crew that just wants to play and live and love and see the world and thus are always reconfiguring with new members and crew mates! so bring whatever else you have to contribute! Never say die!!

also, some of us are involved in a collective record/zine shop show space if you want to book a show in Gainesville:

Wayward Council is a volunteer-run not-for-profit collective record, book, zine store and all ages show space that takes money on a donation basis and has managed to survive since 1999 by hooking up the community with cheap and substantial books and records, putting on shows for underground and DIY bands, puppeteers, performance artists, speakers, filmmakers and all along has continued to host community activist groups, meetings, and serve as a community center for the underground and DIY communities.
