The Prayer band was formed in June 1999 with the intention of taking over the heavy music a message of hope and change paradigms. In January 2002 the band had recorded their first demo with two songs. In July 2006 the band had released their first EP, called Show Me The Way, with four songs. Since then the band has done several shows in various cities in Brazil and played with renowned bands of the hardcore scene worldwide, as No Turning Back, Have Heart and 108. In September 2009 the band had their album released so desired, entitled Anatomy of Reality, with 12 songs that talk of a brutal hardcore and a destroyer metal. With reflexives letters sent through an aggressive vocals, Anatomy of Reality has the intention to place people in front of a mirror so he can see his real face, the rottenness of his selfishness. Anatomy Of Reality intends to present a new reality for humans, a fact of life and hope. The launch show of this album had the company of renowned Brazilian band, Confronto. In March 2010 the band had the privilege of opening a show for the renowned band POD. In October 2010
the band had the privilege of having your first clip released of the song Turning To Yourself

A banda Prayer foi formada em junho de 1999 com o intuito de levar através da música pesada uma mensagem de mudança de paradigmas e esperança. No mês de janeiro de 2002 a banda teve sua primeira demo gravada com 2 músicas. Em julho de 2006 a banda teve seu primeiro EP lançado, chamado Show Me The Way, com 4 músicas. Desde então a banda vem fazendo vários shows em várias cidades do Brasil e tocado com bandas renomadas da cena Hardcore mundial, como No Turning Back, Have Heart e 108. No mês de setembro de 2009 a banda teve seu tão sonhado albúm lançado, intitulado Anatomy Of Reality, com 12 músicas que versam entre um hardcore brutal e um metal destruidor. Com letras reflexivas transmitidas através de um vocal agressivo, Anatomy Of Reality tem a intenção de colocar o ser humano em frente a um espelho para que ele possa ver a sua real face, a podridão do seu egoísmo. Anatomy Of Reality tem a intenção de apresentar uma nova realidade para ser humano, uma realidade de vida e esperança. O show de lançamento deste albúm contou com a empresa da renomada banda brasileira, Confronto. Em março de 2010 a banda teve o privilégio de abrir um show para a renomada banda P.O.D. Em outubro de 2010 a banda teve o privilégio de ter o seu primeiro clip lançado, da música Turning To Yourself.
