With roots coiled in the thirsty soil of El Paso, Prawphit finds himself a present-day dweller of Austin, TX. In a creative hiatus he doggedly greases the wheels of his debut album "Persevere”, which will feature notorious underground royals, Cage, Kristoff Krane, Grieves, and Sleep (Old Dominion). Production by Mike Anaya of Subrosa Union, Pale Soul of Old Dominion, and Grieves.



Chaperoned by the pain of his tragic past, Prawphit channels his slow-boiling depression and rage into a long-haired and fair-faced muse. Immersed in the saline bath of revisited emotions he writes lyrics to administer his listeners with a playback of his troubled mind.



Voracious hip hop fans can sink their salivating gums into Prawphit’s sound – teeming with vitamins and minerals for healthy development – at shows hosted by the reggae influenced trio Subrosa Union, a concave gut once more filled with songs like "Forever" and "Revolution”. Prawphit has already infected the listening alongside the likes of Eyedea & Abilities, Sole, Ceschi, Blu, 2mex, The Chicharones, Strong Arm Steady, Lifesavas, Kristoff Krane, Strange Fruit Project, Ecid, and Span Phly of Rawkus records. Always eager to conspire with fellow emcees Prawphit is on the hunt for collaborations to exploit both local and remote talent.

With a highly anticipated mixtape in the works entitled "Who The F*ck is Prawphit?" which features exclusive guest appearances by Copywrite, The Chicharones (Josh Martinez and Sleep), Mac Lethal and Pace Won, Prawphit is ready to take the scene by its throat, and not just with the average act of strangulation, but to resuscitate, with innovative production and high-powered lyricism.
