Bobby Garcia, is the essence of what one may define as a ‘’real emcee’’. Bobby g, as most people call him, was born in long island, but New Jersey is where he calls home, and that is where he began his life as a musician. Drawing lyrical influences from the likes of Rakim, Pharaoh Monch, and Talib Kweli, and production influences from J Dilla, Primo, and Pete Rock, he was able to cultivate a style familiar to fans of Hip Hop, without compromising one Art form for the other. Considered a dynamic, energetic, and talented “wordsmith” and producer by many industry professionals, Bobby remains an unsigned artist. However, his passion for hip-hop is what separates his music from the rest.
Currently, he is producing his debut album titled "RapEnomics", which is set to be released in the first quarter of 2010. Named after his first single, the album will feature Bobby’s beat making and lyrical ability. After signing a distribution deal with a leading global distributor in 2009, Bobby added his production label, known as PortoRoc Productions. Under this label, "RapEnomics" will be Available as a digital download at every major online retailer.
