Pornstore Janitor knows it's a dirty job, but someone's got to do it. That is, playing cleanup to the myriad lesser punk-metal acts wanking on stages from Portland, Ore., to Portland, Maine, and everywhere in between. Its brand, uh, spankin' new demos, as well as its self-released 2004 album, Built for Smut, beat bands like Zeke, the Riverboat Gamblers and the Supersuckers at their own game. The Stumptown quartet promises more salacious and sloppy fun in the new year by filling this eve with plenty of messy splendor. - DAVE CLIFFORD.

This is PDX ROCK N ROLL's review of a show we did on 4/15/06 at Audio Cinema:

I've only recently realized that Pornstore Janitor is THE BEST punk rock band in Oregon and Washington and probably California, too, I don't know. They are so good and so tight that you're almost wishing for them to fuck up so they can be real again! Their down and dirty punk rock and roll rips it up in each and every song and I've never been to a show where we weren't all screaming for more. The place wasn't that packed since it was a secret show (!) but those of us who were there were singing along to the hits like "Blow Buy Blow" and cheers'ing. I was waiting for them to do a Turbonegro cover but I'll have to wait til next time. They almost did a Rush song, though!! The boys have been around for 7 years and I've only recently discovered how great they are. For those of you who are still in the dark I suggest you check this band out pronto!! Cheers - - BS
